Give your impurities a ride with the vacuum cleaner

If you love gadgets and want to get to the bottom of your impurities, Beurer's pore cleaner based on vacuum technology might be your new must-have.

How it works:

The pore cleaner sucks your impurities directly up and out of the skin, without you having to stand and poke and squeeze. (Which quite often also just ends up hurting much worse!). It works for all skin types.

The pore cleaner has three different heads, so you can easily treat different areas of the face
.

  • The large, round head: With this head, you can more quickly remove impurities from larger areas such as the forehead and chin.

  • The small, round head: With this head, you can easily remove impurities from the smaller areas of the face that require more precision, e.g. on and around the nose and upper lip.

  • The oval head: The oval head can be used both to remove impurities and to promote microcirculation and increase skin elasticity.

The oval head can easily be used to remove impurities on the sides of the nose. With the oval head in use, the intensity should be at the lowest level, which is 20%.

How to get the best result:

Help the skin a little on its way. Steam the skin for five to ten minutes before using the vacuum cleaner. By steaming the face, you open the pores, and it becomes much easier to suck the impurities out of the clogged pores.

Remember to pat the skin dry after the steam bath and before using the pore cleaner. Remember to put a disposable filter in the pore cleaner before starting the treatment. In the accompanying manual, you will find a guide on how to optimally clean the various zones.

Simple skin care routine against blackheads:

1. Facial cleanser against blackheads

When you experience a lot of blackheads, one of the most important things you can do to get rid of them is to remember to clean your skin every day - even when you haven't worn makeup.

With their Clear & Defend series, Neutrogena has created skin care products that are tailored for more impure skin with clogged pores. That's why their Clear & Defend Facial Wash is perfect for those of you who suffer from blackheads.

It has a light and gel-like consistency and contains AHA acid and salicylic acid, which has a peeling effect on the skin and cleans effectively in depth.

When you wash your face, make sure you wash thoroughly around the areas where you have the most blackheads. Massage the cleanser in in circular motions so that the pores can be thoroughly cleansed.

2. Blackhead fix in stick form

If you experience outbreaks of blackheads or impurities, you can try a roll-on stick against impurities - we have found a couple here that are super effective (and very popular on matas.dk!)

Matas Striber Spot Stick for impure skin is a smart roll-on stick without perfume, which dries out the impurity so that it disappears faster. You use it directly on the problem area and let it dry before continuing with the rest of your skin care. It contains neem extract and vitamin B3, which reduces impurities and reduces sebum.

Another really good suggestion is Australian Bodycare's Spot Stick, which works in the same way – it effectively prevents, cares for and counteracts impure skin. It contains Tea Tree Oil, and must also be applied directly to the impurity you want to get rid of.

3. Serum which reduces blackheads

A really good ingredient for if you suffer from blemishes and blackheads is niacinamide. Niacinamide is particularly known for effectively reducing impurities and reducing sebum in the skin.

Plaisirs Niacinamide 10% is a perfume-free serum which - in addition to niacinamide - also contains Pore Reductyl, which reduces pores. So it's also brilliant if you suffer from large pores that get clogged easily. In addition, it also contains glycerin and allantoin, which moisturize and soothe the skin.

Use the serum morning and evening after cleansing your skin and before applying your face cream. A serum is a product with a lighter formula than a face cream, which means that the ingredients can penetrate further into the skin and work.

Strips for blackheads on the nose

In addition to good daily cleansing routines, masks and peels are brilliant for removing blackheads on the nose. Like nose strips are good for impure skin on the nose and the best solution to prevent and remove blackheads?

Remember to make the skin warm and the pores open before you go to war. By using masks on the nose area, you avoid the risk of getting a sore pimple from the removal, because you get too much massage and pressure on a blackhead.

Blackheads in the ears

As on the back, it can be difficult to spot blackheads in the ear itself, and thus difficult to get them removed. But the fact is that blackheads can easily occur in the ear.

Wash your ears with your face wash, or seek help and play home spa with your friend, or ask your beautician to check your ears the next time you drop by. The same applies if you suffer from pimples in your nose.

What are blackheads?

Your skin is naturally full of pores, i.e. small holes or openings in the skin, where the hair follicles grow and where the skin's natural fat - sebum - comes out. We all have pores in our skin, and occasionally they become clogged and turn into blackheads, which are either black or white.

There are certain places on the face where the pores are more visible, such as on the nose, forehead and chin - and on the body it is the ears, back and between the breasts. When these pores become clogged with a black or white mass, we call them blackheads. Perhaps you have also come across the English word for blackheads, namely blackheads.

Vitamin A in skin care – fight wrinkles and impure skin What is the best solution to prevent and remove blackheads?

That's why you get blackheads

Blackheads occur when the skin overproduces fat/oil, also called tallow or sebum. The sebum and fat are good for the skin, and we need it, as it helps to moisturize and keep the skin supple. But an overproduction of sebum can result in it pooling with dead skin cells and dirt and thus clogging the pores and settling like a small plug.

There are several reasons why skin pores stop:

• The size of your pores. Large pores increase the risk that dirt and grease can accumulate, and this makes especially the blackheads very visible.

• How oily your skin is. If you have a high production of oil in the skin, the skin stops more easily. The production of fat and sebum may well be related to your hormonal balance, for example menstruation, use of birth control pills or pregnancy.

• Skin care. If you clean your skin too little or too much or use skin care products that are not suitable for your skin, this can also have an effect.

Fortunately, we ourselves can make an effort to minimize the size of the pores, clean the skin and remove dirt from the pores, so that you minimize the risk of blackheads.

Did you know that...
There are two types of blackheads: the black and the white blackheads. The open and the closed, you could also say.

What is the best solution to prevent and remove blackheads?

What are blackheads?

Blackheads, also known as blackheads or comedones, are open blackheads. They get their black color because they are open, and thus the surface comes into contact with oxygen, and the oxidation turns the top black-brown. This makes them more visible on the skin, which is why the blackheads are probably the most hated form of blackheads.

What are whiteheads?

The white blackhead, also known as whiteheads or milia, is a closed blackhead. They arise from skin fat that you cannot get rid of, and are an accumulation of bacteria, skin fat and dead skin cells that lie under the skin .

How to avoid blackheads and whiteheads

The path to flawless skin is not the same for everyone, because of course it depends on why you have blackheads. Some need more than others, but start with basic skin care and be patient. Treatment of blackheads can rarely be done in one day.

Cleanse your skin daily

To reduce the size of your pores and keep them clean, make sure you cleanse your skin twice a day – morning and night – and you should do it every day, regardless of whether you've been wearing makeup or not. This is how you prevent dirt and dead skin cells from accumulating and finding their way to your pores and clogging them with blackheads.

However, remember everything in moderation. It is not beneficial to over cleanse the skin as it needs oil/grease to stay supple and soft. Choose mild cleansing products if you are in doubt about your skin type.

Peel your skin

In addition to your daily cleansing routines, it is essential to exfoliate once or twice a week. This will ensure that you can get rid of those pesky blackheads in the long run.

Choose a peel that contains BHA, what we call salicylic acid. BHA is fat soluble and thus removes the excess fat/sebum and the plug of dead skin cells and oil that has settled in the pores and is on its way to turning into blackheads. In addition, BHA is also exfoliating on the skin, so it also helps to prevent the pores from becoming clogged, as it gently removes the dead skin cells and works in depth.

Blackheads and steam

Steam is a simple way to 'open' the pores and thus loosen and the best solution to prevent and remove blackheads. You can steam your face the old-fashioned way by filling a bowl with boiling water and holding your head over it for a few minutes.

If you've been to a beautician, you might remember how she works with steam before doing a deep cleanse. It is the same procedure here. Use steam as a supplement to your cleansing routine or if you want to remove a blackhead by squeezing it.

If you really have to print it out

You probably know it: If you spot a blackhead, you don't have peace of mind until you've had it removed. Be careful how you remove your blackheads, though, so you don't overdo it and end up with a sore, inflamed pimple instead.

There are different ways to remove blackheads manually, and what they all have in common is that you must maintain good hygiene before, during and after the process.
